I was lucky enough to take part in a trial of this product provided by Beauty Review NZ and here are my thoughts.
I don’t know about you, but I’m always on the look out for that one product that is going to give me back the smooth, plump, line free, no pigmentation complexion I once had…. before children, life and work became a priority. Those were the days…. not a care in the world, out in the sun, socialising, up till dawn. Just thinking about that makes me want to curl up in front of the fire with a good book. Gone are those days (to a certain extent) but the remnants remain with each “experience” line that shows when I smile, frown, relax.
In the last few years I’ve realised just how important it is to look after your skin. If only I’d known then what I know now 🙂
A product that claims to be “anti wrinkle” has a big challenge ahead. I’ve tried so many things that simply don’t do what they say they will.
Having had excema and allergies as a child, I find my eye area to now be very thin and prone to becoming incredibly dry and extra crepey, especially when allergies attack, which they do even now. To add to that, my overall skin type is dry and needs a lot of hydration.
The Nivea Q10 Plus Anti-Wrinkle serum has been a pleasant surprise. When I first tried the product, it reminded me of scrambled eggs in texture due to the way that the pearls are dispensed through the pump, but I did not let that put me off (I don’t like scrambled eggs!). The serum has a floral scent that is prominent but not overwhelming. After the first application I thought the serum was moisturising and smoothing. After continued use, I’ve found that my skin has shown signs of change, even after such a small amount of time. There is a radiance to my skin that I used to achieve using the Loreal Lumi Magique primer, I no longer use that as it’s not required. It’s almost as though I have applied a light highlighter all over my foundation to give off a glow. But I haven’t. The only thing I can attribute it to is the use of the serum as part of my morning routine. When the product arrived my eyes were reacting to a previous allergy which had made the delicate skin in that area dry and a little flakey. After using the serum for a few days, that area is now completely smooth. I’ve noticed some tightening around the eye area and a slight change to the lines along the top of my cheek bones.
For someone with slightly sensitive and dry skin, I highly recommend this product. I will continue to use it, and repurchase.

Thanks for the review Lisylou! Love that it worked for you. I’ll definitely keep an eye out for this next time I’m shopping.
